The Robert Wiley Foundation 16’s is underway with as many as 70-90 boy’s being invited down to train. The coach for The Robert Wiley Foundation Dave Ellis who with support from Grant Edmunds, Dean Nottle, Beau Wardman and Maryanne Stan- Bishop will be looking to establish a professional and exciting outfit for the 16’s Carnival starting late March and through April.
With the main focuses Kicking, Core and Sprint Work being drummed right from the start of this program we look forward to seeing the improvement throughout the next couple of months. The boy’s will be be Medical Screened by Notre Dame and also receive kicking analysis from Dartfish a new kicking software program purchased by The Robert Wiley Foundation/ Past Players Association. This will be overseen by Sophia Nimbus biomechanist.
With the help of Specialist Coaches Murray Couper (Goal Kicking/ Kicking), Matt Barber (Strength and Conditioning/ Sprint) and Grant Ross (Tackling) we hope to give our boy’s an insight and education on the basics they need to excel the further they progress with the Perth Football Club.
