Stack goes to Richmond
Perth Football Club product Sydney Stack is officially a Richmond player, with the Richmond Football Club lodging paperwork today.
Following on from Bobby Hill and Luke English being drafted last November, Sydney is the third Revo Fitness Colts player to be recruited.
After not being selected in the draft, Stacky was offered the opportunity to live with Senior Coach Damien Hardwick and train with the Tigers since December, as part of the AFL’s new Pre-Season Supplemental Selection Period.
“We’re delighted to welcome Sydney to the Club, he’s worked really hard to secure a spot on the list, and we know he’ll continue to work hard to develop his football,” Richmond General Manager – Football, Neil Balme said.
“Sydney’s got great speed, skill, and competes really hard, so we’re excited by what he’ll bring to the team.”
The news of Sydney being drafted is great reward for outgoing Talent Manager, Peter Brear.
