Perth Demons Final Preview
Perth Demons Finals Preview
Written By: Andrew Owen
The first week of finals is here and the Perth Football Club will be represented by the colts and reserves sides. Both games will be played at Steel Blue Oval and we look forward to seeing a sea of red ‘n’ black supporters on SUNDAY!
Reserves – 9:05am Steel Blue Oval
Perth had a day to forget last week when they got outclassed by South Fremantle to the tune of 91-points.
With last week’s victory, South Fremantle has now won two of the three encounters between these sides this season.
The Demons play the Bulldogs again this week and will be looking for a massive turn around in form.
The winner of this match will progress through to the Grand Final in a fortnight’s time, while the looser will play the winner of the East Perth and West Perth game.
Colts – 11:35am Steel Blue Oval
Last week Perth lost their second close game in a row when they went down by six-points to South Fremantle. Their opponents this week, Subiaco, had a 14-point victory against East Perth.
The Lions won the first match between these sides this season by 37-points in round nine while the Demons won the return fixture by 48-points in round 17.
The winner of this match will go on and play either Claremont or South Fremantle, while for the looser their 2013 season will be over.
