Speaking at a school assembly, Crawford spoke about his football journey and emphasised that if you want something bad enough and work hard at it, you give yourself the best chance of achieving your goal.

After the assembly Crawford went out onto the oval were he conducted a fun clinic with the Year 2 class.  During this clinic there were plenty of goals and spectacular marks taken by the children.

School Ambassador and Physical Education teacher, Vicki Keys said “we’ve never seen so many female teachers out on the school oval.”

All the children enjoyed having a kick with Crawford and many of them were asking about how they can join a club receive their Purple or Green Auskick pack.

After the visit to Cannington Community College, Crawford visited John Walliston College in Kelmscott and later on that evening spoke at the State launch of junior football for 2014 at Patersons Stadium.
