Unfortunately the following former Perth Football Club players, administrators or identities have passed away this year.  The Club is certainly the poorer for their passing.

Peter Tolcon – a player from the old WACA days, Peter played seven League matches in 1956. He was a member of the Club’s strong Reserves sides of the mid-fifties, including the 1955 Premiership side.

John Fry – a tall, lanky ruckman, John represented the Club in 32 League matches from 1961 to 1963. He also was a member of the 1963 Reserves Premiership side.

Graham Devenny – Graham played in the lower grades for the Club in the 1960’s and recently became a member of our Past Players & Officials Association.

Harold Little – one of the most popular players at the Club in the early 1960’s, Harold played in 49 League matches. He possessed lightning speed and an ability to do some magical things.

Ken Cook – Ken was the Director of Junior Football from 1999 to 2002, being highly regarded in this area.

Arthur Grey – joining the Club in 1958, Arthur had a long and distinguished career as a trainer/physio/masseur almost up until the time of his death. He was awarded Life Membership in 1999.

Dr. Steve Kargotich - highly respected Club Doctor Steve, together with his late brother Tom, gave countless hours over a great number of years to the medical needs of the Club’s players. They were both awarded Life Membership in 1974. Dr. Steve maintained his involvement in latter years as the Club patron.

Trevor Riley – very popular General Manager from 1991 to 1995, Trevor was someone who rolled up his sleeves to ensure all aspects of the Club’s operations were covered.

Lois Hughes – widow of the late Club legend Bernie, she gave every support to enable him to attend to so many administrative and voluntary services for the Club.

Mike Williams – another popular member of staff, Mike joined the training staff in 1990 and was head trainer from 1991 to 1994.

Denis Thomas – Denis was a long-time member who volunteered his services to the Club, in particular with the Past Players & Officials Association. He was very active in the upgrade of the Rovers Lounge and the establishment of the History Centre.

Michael Miller – Former captain of the Fourths side in the early stages of that competition.

John Nagle – Long time Club member and former committeeman (1980) and a vice-president (1981-1982).
