Round 19 Preview Perth V East Fremantle

Round 19 sees Perth taking on East Fremantle at Lathlain Oval.

The Demons had a miserable day at the office last week, going down by 133-points against a rampant Subiaco while the Sharks had a bye.

These teams last played each other back in round eight with East Fremantle kicking ten goals in the first quarter to set up the 24-point win over Perth.

The Sharks are sitting in eighth position on the ladder while the Demons are in ninth.

Perth (reserves) last week lost to Subiaco (reserves) by 99-points.  Kieran Hug (34 possessions, 3 marks, 7 tackles), Kurtis Chester (33 disposals, 4 marks), Kodie Fleay (23 possessions, 10 marks, 5 tackles), Sam McGillivray (22 disposals, 3 marks, 5 tackles 3 I50’s) and Mitch Browne (22 possessions, 9 marks, 4 tackles) could all be in line for a call up to the league team.

Last time Perth recorded a 52-point win against East Fremantle.  The Sharks are in eighth position on the ladder while the Demons are in seventh.

Perth (colts) continued their push to play finals this year with a 17-point victory against Subiaco (colts).

With only four games to go Perth are in seventh position on the ladder, four points and percentage off third placed East Fremantle.

Last time these two teams played it was the Sharks who ran out 29-point winners against the Demons.

The colts kick things off at 9am on Saturday with the reserves playing at 11:30am and the league team rounding out proceedings at 2:15pm.
