Tuesday, October 20, 2015 - 9:00 AM by Tyson Beattie

The Perth Demons have signed former Richmond and Adelaide ruckman Angus Graham.

The 28 year old played 48 games for the Tigers after being drafted in 2006. He played last season for Aberfeldie in the Essendon Districts Football League, guiding the club to their first premiership in 41 years. He booted seven goals in the Grand Final.

Standing 202 centimetres, the athletic and versatile ruckman is looking forward to extending his football career in the WAFL, signing a three year contract with the Demons.

Graham hopes to make an immediate impact and is excited to play on the vast and expansive grounds in the west. “I can’t wait to get over there, I think I am going to enjoy how spacious the grounds are, it will suit my game. I have been to Perth a few times, I have a few mates already over there, the lifestyle is great and hopefully we can have some success next season.” Graham will spearhead a midfield which includes Sandover medal star Aidan Tropiano and the emerging Liam McKenna.

He will join team mates when preseason begins 11 November.
