Vale Barbara Davis

Long-time members of the Club were particularly saddened by the recent unexpected death of Barb Davis. Along with her late husband Derek, Barb was a Club member from the early years of our existence at Lathlain Park. Both were very keen members, attending functions and helping out wherever they could.

Along with her good friend Glad Bayne, Barb prepared sandwiches and catered for players, coaching staff and others over a great many years. Their efforts also extended to assisting the Past Players & Officials Association with their catering requirements on match days and social occasions.

Barb continued to attend matches at Lathlain when she could, though advancing years prohibited her to some degree.

The names “Barb and Glad” were synonymous with volunteering at the Perth Football Club. Sadly, both have now gone, leaving a massive void, though many fond memories for us to share.

We are sad to announce the loss of Barbara Davis, member of the Perth Demons for over 50 years. Barbara has been very involved as a member over this time making pasta for the boys on Thursday nights and sandwiches for the colts and past players on game days. Barbara loved the club and all the boys over the years. For anyone who would like to attend her funeral is Tuesday 1st December at 11.30am.
