Round 16 Preview Perth V West Perth

Round 16 sees Perth taking on West Perth at Lathlain Park.

Like the Demons the Falcons also had a bye last week but were very impressive the round before when they defeated Subiaco by 10-points while a second half fadeout saw Perth go down to Peel Thunder by 62-points.

Both these teams met back in round three with West Perth winning by 79-points in the league and 13-points in the colts while the Demons won by 18-points in the reserves.

Perth has lost the last eight games against the Falcons with an average loosing margin of 44-points.  Their last victory was back in round 18, 2011 when they defeated West Perth by 29-points.  Chris Billings and the injured Brett Hodge are the only players from that game that are still at the club.

The Falcons are second on the ladder while the Demons are in ninth position.  In the reserves West Perth are fourth while Perth are fifth and in the colts the Falcons are fourth while a bad run recently has seen the Demons drop down to seventh.

The colts kick things off this Saturday at 9am with the reserves getting underway at 11:30am and the league game starting at 2:15pm.
