VALE Mick McMahon
Thursday, September 17, 2015 - 11:07 AM
We were recently advised of the sad passing of Mick McMahon after suffering ill health for some time.
Mick came to the Club in the early 1960’s, having played juniors for the South Perth Junior Football Club. He was a nuggetty rover who excelled in the successful Thirds sides of the era under the astute guidance of Jack Ensor. Mick captained the side and also was a premiership Thirds player.
In 1964 he made five appearances in the League team but found it difficult to become a regular member given the quality of rovers available at the time.
The Club extends it’s sympathies to Mick McMahon’s family and friends.
