ANZAC DAY GUERNSEY UNVEILED

Saturday, April 20, 2019 - 10:00 PM

The Perth Football Club will pay tribute to those who have served and lost their lives in war at the Anzac Day match this coming Thursday. When the League side run out on the ground against East Perth, they will wear the commemorative Anzac Day guernsey.

This jumper features the Demons’ iconic red sash, however it has been composed out of poppies to pay tribute and remember those who have served and died in war on operational service past and present.

Discussing the jumper, CEO Marty Atkins commented “It is an awesome jumper. I’m sure the boys will be proud to wear this jumper on Thursday night.”

“Commemorating Anzac Day is important for the Club, and we remember not just those associated with our Club, but all who have given their lives for our country.”

Perth Football Club is set to take on East Perth Football Club on Thursday, 25th April at Mineral Resources Park (formerly Lathlain Park). You can read all the match day details here.
