East Maddington Gold Win Dockers Cup
The Dockers Cup was held on Thursday September 11 at Coker Park Cannington.
This event was hosted by Vicki Bramwell Keys and Cannington Community College and saw over 160 girls from five schools formed 10 teams to participate in the day.
Some of these teams were East Maddington, AIC Thornlie, Cannington Community College, Forrest Crescent Primary School, Gibbs Street Primary School
It was a round robin format qith each team playing six games in perfect conditions for football.
There was some incredible talent on display, with all teams managing to win at least one game each.
In a tight contest all day, it went down to the last round with East Maddington Gold prevailing on percentage from Forrest Crescent and Cannington Community College.
There were 10 best on grounds awarded (one for each team) with each person receiving a show bag of Perth Demons gear.
All schools received Fremantle Dockers Gear, posters and football's.
